Welcome to Crankosaurus Press. We are a husband and wife, dog and toddler team based in Roseville, Minnesota. We create original animal designs by drawing and carving them in linoleum. The designs are then transfered to a screen and printed using water based inks on unbleached flour sack tea towels. A lot of the drawing and carving happen on the living room couch, while the printing and heat setting happen in the basement.
We are committed to creating unique designs for products that are practical and functional. Our towels are made out of a tightly woven flour sac cotton. Towels are smooth and absorbent–great for every day kitchen use. They are machine washable and dried.
We reduce our impact on the planet by using unbleached cotton tea towels and printing with water based inks. They also use eco-friendly and USA made products.
